Sing Industry
is a legal business entity established in May 1994. For those who are tech-savvy, it's one year before "Windows 95", where Microsoftlaunched its first [Start] button. As a guy who prefers fun to Corporate, I chose to venture into the Event Market (a niche).
My first "Apps" for the event-entertainment market were developed into the Amiga PCs.
Below shows my first hardware investment, an Amiga 1200 that cost me S$800 where the first "Computerized Lucky Draw" system was made.
Yes, with today's software development environment, it may take only 2 weeks for a software developer to make this "app".
But during that time when hardware were primitive, and software was hardware based,
it took me 3 months of day and night work to get the first "workable" version out to the market.
(Believe it or not, my Amiga 1200 memory size was 2MB, and my first harddisk for it was 20MB.)
With that, I pioneered the "Computerized Lucky Draw" in Singapore.
Since market was fresh and hardware very primitive, my development path was like caveman making the wheel.
It was challenging but fun.

But the Amiga went off the market, and big Bill took the world market by storm with his Windows and Office.
I had no choice but to rewrite the entire "Computerized Lucky Draw" into Windows PCs. And together, I added a new module called
the "Barcode Registration System". This combination was a catalyst and worked well and I gained the event market in Singapore.
Life went on smoothly and the business is known today as Sing Industry.

I felt funny because it's so famous that despite the OK job it done, the word "free" or "cheap" always come to mind.
And I'm sure you don't want a corporate site to give that immediate first impression.
